The term ‘Life Skills’ refers to the skills you need to make the most out of life. Life skills are usually associated with managing and living a better quality of life. The mission of the Life Skills initiative will be to provide church members and their families with access to information and services that support the continued development of skills and behaviors that will support accomplishment of their ambitions and the ability to live to their full potential.
This activity seeks to attract participants willing to conduct a self-assessment of their areas of opportunity and commit to a program of continued development of – one session on the “skills and behaviors of successful people” just won’t do.
The development of sound life skills and the dedication to put them into daily practice reflects a topical area relevant to multiple demographics within the church, but is especially critical for the church’s youth and young adults.
